OK, thanks--I was worried that perhaps there might be some computer equipment incompatability or something like that--I'm a real computer DUMMY, so anything is possible. Good to know there's no problem.

Already I like your forum--just ordered a custom Breedlove and am already trying to read everything on here. Be seeing you around..........

Just joined today and as I surf through various threads I am seeing a penguin holding a sign with the IP, ISP (Fort Bend County Libraries), OS type info and suggesting I get "...out of the gene pool".

Just wondering if there is some sort of problem.

I'm on a library computer--is that the reason, or is one of my forum settings wrong?

I've been active on quite a few forums and have never seen this before, don't want to cause problems with the forum.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!

    Doug

You are just seeing a little graphic generator I use to spark your mind a bit. It's supposed to be a funny thing at worst, sorry if it was alarming. It is a script from Danasoft.com .

    Happy New Year! And welcome.

Thanks Jeff -- yep, I'm loving it more and more every day. On my old mando I used to try and hack my way through some Bill Monroe tunes and they never really made sense -- just the wrong sound, the wrong attack, and my fingers never quite wanted to work with the strings. On the Cascade, everything falls into place beautifully!

Thanks to .mac for being selfish What do you mean by this Jeff? I've been very satisfied with my .Mac experience. The integration and ease of use with iPhoto, web galleries, etc. is awesome. The whole thing has been an enormous improvement over Embarq (formerly Sprint).

It's really a long story, but in short read this thread:

    Caper,

Oddly enough today is so vastly different. Do you know...I spent a total of about 500 hours on the Yahoo Messenger with Mrs. Omega before I knew what to do about it all. That is more time than I ever spent with anyone but my dog. We knew it was right. And the second we were up close and in personal at the Shanghai Pudong Airport, we were bonded forever. Storybook in a way. It just got better from there as you can see in that pic., this is one love filled Mrs. Omega. That is the...

It is a week past where issues like this seem irrelevant. Many forums have had low attendance during the past week from the little I have garnered, and rightfully so. The world has seen horror of the first water (whatever that really means, I just like using that experession, but know not of its origin)....
